Is Sim-Outhouse registration forbidden for Frenchies?

This is the place where we can all meet and speak about whatever is on the mind.

Is Sim-Outhouse registration forbidden for Frenchies?

Post by lnouvo »

I’m a fan of WWII bombers and jets, and B 29 over all.
Thanks to the post I want to buy some new B-29's of Mon May 14, 2007 8:45 am from keith_uk I visited the site
http://www.combatfs.com/index.php?loc=d ... me=sokotai
where are a lot of textures for the Wings of Power B 29.
To get them, it’s necessary to register at Sim-Outhouse before.
I tried several times to register, but always get error message back.

What can I do? Am I banned because I’m French, with a French address?
I never had any difficulty to register on any forum until now, so I'm very disappointed.
Thanks for help.

I had the same problem, and I'm not French.

I assume that the site doesn't allow web-based e-mail addresses.

Yes the outhouse does not allow web based email. You should be able to use your free ISP email no probs though.

Many thanks Lewis - Shockwave, but where can I find this "free ISP email"?
Do you mean free ISP email ? or FREE ISP email? as long as FREE is my Internet Access Provider. I never heard of that type of email address before. Can you give me more infos about that?

As a service to you, your ISP should provide you with at least one free email address using their .com or .net addy.

As an example, my ISP comes from earthlink ... and my email has an @earthlink.net locator.

Your ISP should provide like services.

Thanks for your help Snuffy_Hadden
Unfortunately, looking thru infos received or available from my ISP's personal account, it seems that such address is not provided. I'm looking forward thru other French members and ISPs for solution. May be such item is not allowed for EEC people. I'll let you know.

Create an e-mail address with AOL online, you'll have an "[email protected]" or similar account. That's how I got round that particular problem and I hope it would work for you.
