New aircart suggestion

Post by bloodclot »

Hello all you flightsimmers out there!
Shockwave makes the best WWII aircraft for FSX(9) wouldnt it be nice to see a twin engined fighter such as the Bristol Beaufighter, Me-110 or the DH Mosqito to be made by shockwave?

Our next aircraft out is beyond anything we've done before - the new Wings of Silver line represents a big step forward. We're finally close to beta after the longest development effort yet for us. Stand by, once we have this in beta we'll start releasing good info.

Scott.

My vote would be for the DH Mosqito or a good looking Super Connie! However; I'm sure whatever Shockwave has up their sleeve will be pretty cool.

Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down!

If Wings of Silver is the way forward and seeing as there's already a Connie in development elsewhere my vote would be for a de Havilland Heron http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Havilland_Heron

Wings of Silver is just one new line. Not even sure if I've mentioned it here but shockwaves plate is so full our hands have gravy all over them, quick somone pass the dish cloth!

We have on the list or on the go 4-5 types not including the ww2 fighters update to native FSX SP2. With each being very different and unique.

Crumbs! That's exciting news Lewis. I look forward the speculation, which I hope follows. I should start saving now then. :D

I think that the Bristol Beaufighter would look very hot in FSX :D
But it does not matter wich aircraft(s) they are all in top class and extremely detailed and fun to fly.

Look what they done to the Croydon Airport Heron where I live

I don't imagine the Connie in development elsewhere will be too brilliant, if the past offerings are anything to go by. I'm not saying it will be bad, but it won't be up to Shockwave standards. If it is, I'll eat my head. So on the strength of that, I'd still love to see a Shockwave Constellation. :D

Having just seen today's screenshots of the soon to be released Just Flight Mosquito, like Bloodclot and CFLord, I'd now like to see a shockwave Mosquito too.

I see that one in passing regularly John but have never had the time to stop and have a good look, must take the time sometime soon.

The WIP screenshots of the Connie that have been shown recently at the SOH forum look very promising and I have high hopes.
I'll try to find the thread and post a link later.
Edit: here you go http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/s ... ght=connie

Hope you're right. Can't see the screenies at the moment, as I'm not registered there anymore. Are the panels a little blurry like the Mossie?
My hopes are raising as we speak...
Thanks for the info.. I wonder what my head will taste like..
