FSX use different terrain addon?

Post by Joachim »

Has anyone found a way to fly FSX with different terrain ad-don?
The add-on takes over so maybe in a different partition or with changing folders?

Sorry. I'm not sure either!

Which VFR package are you looking at Lewis? There's one from Horizon and one from Just Flight. Both are different, but The JF version is more up-to date and has night textures and lighting. That's the one I'm interested in.

I have the JF version for 2004 and it is those volumes I am looking at for FSX. And as you say night textures are to me anuyway quite important.

This is what I mean:
I like to use not just one (1) but also another add-on terrain for FSX.
Right now I have MegasceneryX in the FSX but have also Flight1 add-on terrain available to be installed.
As far as I can determine only one can be installed as it inserts itself in the FSX program.
Due to the different features of each add-on terrain I would like to use each one of them sometimes.
So I am looking for a way to have the adventage of both.

PS: you can check or check-off in Settings-Scenery Library the scenery wanted.
