I read that there was an FSX update in the works, but i havent heard much about it in about a week or two, just alot of people trying to bring it over from FS9. I Put FSX on a clean hard drive and do not want to put FS9 on just for this, so i ask should I stop holding my breath and just move on and find something else to fiddle with????

OK, I can see I didn't get a file list up here. Give me a day to get this up here and we can take it from there.

It may be a dumb question, but what is the relation between the file list and the update? I have all Shockwave planes installed in FS9. What do I need to do to make them work in FSX? Simply copy them? Re-install them? Since Scott mentioned there would be an update procedure, I take it that simply copying won't do the trick.

Stickshaker,

Each aircraft has had it's own quirks about getting it into FSX. There are so many aircraft in our lineup, we just have not gotten around to porting and testing each one to verify the issues, if any. I went through the installer to, at least, identify and list all the files. We can't commit to making an aircraft FSX compatible until we test it. The He219, for example, I have very low hopes for it porting well due to the long list of customizable features built into the aircraft.

Hello Scott,

I would be quite willing to pay for an FSX update of your planes! And I think I am not the only one. Is there any serious upgrade in the pipeline, utilizing the FSX possibilities?

And is the CFS3 P-51 still in the works?
