2D panel and things

Just downloaded the P-47. Like the XP-72, anything with a 4360 in it. Do you know about the XP-47? Had a Chrysler inverted V-16 engine, the first Hemi I have been told. Better than 500 MPH at 15,000 ft.
Now for the questions. How do I get the instrument panel, down to the Alt. VSI etc. gauges, in the 2D pit? Don't like useing the VC. Instruments in the VC do not function smooth. Needles hesitate and take a big jump when they do move. This is not happening in other WOP planes I have. Not very good at what makes this stuff work, so would need step by step help. Do I need to upgrade things in the computer?
