FW-190 Update?

Post by Panther_99FS »

If the update is going to be done (after reading the SOH threads) I take it the current repaints won't work then :?:

Dunno Panther, they may work, or may need some minor reworking on the nose...

I'll second, Panther.

Also, Scott, would you please to show us the rough schedule of the update if possible?

This might be helpful for people thinking of her repaint now.

Kind Regards,

I believe the existing textures will work on the upgraded model, but won't know for certain until they are actually loaded up and checked.

Pleeeease don't make me redo my repaints! I barely had enough free time to do the ones I've done.

By the way, could someone indicate where the threads are that talk about the FW190 updates? I looked but couldn't find anything. :?

Mike,
WoP staff basically discovered that their blueprints had some errors and the end result was a 190A that had too small a nose. So I suspect that the previous paints won't work with the "new nose" upgrade...

Ok, thanks Panther.

Does this mean the rear fuselage will be redone as well?

Don't know on that one - WoP staff should be able to answer that one...

I am sure that most repaints will work without any problems with updated models. Updated model use the same textures as first released models.
