exhaust flames

Post by ubetcha »

Scott and the Shockwave Team, sounds like a great name for a band doesn't it?, is there any possibility that exhaust flames could be added to the 190 or the p51?. I know that many think they look hokey but maybe something like the effect the Maam B25 Mitchell uses, which I think looks very convincing. If I could see your Focke Wolf belching fire with that big radial engine in my ears I swear I would never buy another plane in my life!. (except for the next one you release of course!).

I agree that some exhaust flames (conservatively done, of course  ) would be a welcome mod. It's one of the things I really like about the RealAir Spit.

Side note: The FW190 (Shockwave) is, I think, the hardest virtual a/c I have flown to date, and I have almost all the combat sims, and numerous add-ons for FS9.

The RA Spit, on the other hand, is relatively easy, similar, IMHO, to Il-2's planes. BoB:WOV's spit seems to split the difference.
