Rudder Axis moves Ailerons in P3Dv5

Post by Fastback »

New to P3Dv5....

My Rudder Pedal inputs are also controlling my Ailerons in the Bonanza

I used the new v5 installer

Default aircraft work fine

I checked the bonanza input configurator, can't see any issues there

No conflicts in P3D controller inputs, autorudder turned off

I've switched the rudder axis to my yoke and still have the issue so not a controller specific problem

I must be missing something :)

Thanks
Ben

"They all do that." Actually that's not too far off. My A2A Bonanza does that in P3D v4.5. There's a connection between the ailerons and rudders on the V-tail Bonanza. There's some mention of that feature in the manual.

Yep, as Paughco says, the ailerons and rudder controls in the V35B are interlinked (via bungee cords) to provide a degree of auto-coordination in turns. This rather unusual design feature of the real aircraft does prompt a few posts by simmers worried about control conflicts. :)
