Hey guys,
I have a quite modest PC system but the most A2A aircraft run quite smooth - except the Bonanza. That makes be wonder because the Comanche on the other hand is the smoothest running.
The last days I played around with the texture files of my civ P-51 and found out when using DXT5 textures without mipmap I achieve significant better fps as with the higher resolutions. My question is: What kind of textures does the stock Bonanza repaints use and is there a chance to get her going with significant better fps when using (much) lower res textures? I heard about the reason for the lower sim performance (for me it's FSX:SE) could be the many click spots in the Bonanza's cockpit. If that's the case I don't need to experiment with the textures...
Thanks in advance,
Zacke

Thanks, Lewis.
Yes I tried that alternative textures a while ago but as I remember the Bonanza was running slow anyway. Maybe it's just my no-gaming rig...
