Oil and Plugs

Post by wblackret »

Just purchased the Bonanza and noticed something odd. When trying to change oil type or plug type, it appears my changes won’t activate. For instance, change from massive to fine wire plugs, it still shows massive under plug type. Same with the oil. I’m using P3D v4.5 in W10. Am I missing something?

Are you clicking on the picture of oil and plugs? Or the grey boxes ABOVE the pictures?

When I tried, it took me a while to work out it’s the grey boxes I needed to click on.

Thanks for the reply Tigerclaw. I was clicking in the correct spots. Before firing up P3D today, ran the Bonanza update again. selections are working now. Not sure if that was the problem or not. I could have sworn I did just that after downloading and installing the Bonanza. Oh well, sorted out now. Thanks again.

I’m glad you got it sorted. I really like the Bonanza, didn’t think I would though. An old buddy used to fly the Carenado one, and I HATED it. But this A2A Bonanza is incredible.

Don’t tell Scott, but I only bought it after watching his video. It was. . . . . shall we say, “very impressive”. Don’t tell him I said so though.

Your secret is safe with me. I agree, very nice aircraft indeed. Thought it may be more challenging to fly, than say the Comanche, though it may be just a tad squirrelly, seem to be doing alright.

I’m flying mine with a STICK, so yeah, very “squirrelly” for me. Until I buy a new Yoke, I’ll just have to “wing it”.
