Hard left turning tendency during taxi
Just purchased and installed the bonanza in P3Dv4, after flying it a lot in FSX. In P3Dv4 I've got an issue; on the ground the airplane pulls left so hard even full right rudder at times is required to keep it straight. This happens at any power setting. I've updated both sim and aircraft, checked my calibration, and wheel brakes. This continues through the takeoff. Shortly after takeoff (a very harrowing takeoff), around 90/100 knots, everything returns to normal. Ideas?

This has to be related to your controller settings, calibration, etc. My guess is you have a dragging brake.

I re-calibrated my rudder a few times. And I don't use any Axis for brakes, at least until my new pedals come in.

Hi R_C,
Have you checked the maintenance hangar (Shift 7) for any reported defects?
Also when you look at the flight controls in the virtual cockpit (yoke and rudder pedals) are they centred when your physical hardware is?
Thanks,
Nick

Yeah, everything is centered. No brake banners. Doesn’t happen in any non-a2a ships. But it does occur in the 182 as well.

Re: Hard left turning tendency during taxi
To help with troubleshooting, please could you give the little application below a try (it should be pretty self-explanatory - just click the "connect to FSX" button when P3D is running) and let us know what percentage figures it reports when you apply the toe and parking brakes in the Bonanza.
Download: Brakes Test.exe
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Hard left turning tendency during taxi
Hey, call off the search.
The "Steering" axis was assigned in P3D directly and, as I normally use FSUIPC, I never thought to check until I stepped away for dinner.. Using this axis will turn the airplane but it gives no indications at all. Neither the rudder pedals nor the external nose-wheel move.
This was my bad, sorry to use up for time!

No worries R_C, thanks for posting back to let us know you found the culprit.
