Testing after dark in the new v5 Bo. Talk about see and be seen. Somewhat overdone I think?

Re: External Lighting
Hello,
what happens when you click OK to load in the new time. I see you are just viewing in the preview mode which wont reload the sim into the correct lighting until you click ok.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: External Lighting
Here is the scene without preview. It's a little better but still bright, or maybe it's meant to be like this. Looks OK in the air so maybe it is right.

Re: External Lighting
Yes that looks better, given the limitations for lights we have.

Re: External Lighting
I take it you are using the “Dynamic lights” in the A2A configurator for that plane?
I am not using those lights, and I don’t have that same glow on the ground. I do if I use them though. So I chose not to use them. It looks a lot better.
My guess is that there is a setting in P3Dv5 that shouldn’t be used, but I can’t find it.

Re: External Lighting
Guys,
We'll put out a little update for the P3Dv5 Bonanza soon to fix the overly powerful lighting effects on PBR runway and taxiway surfaces.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: External Lighting
Thanks Nick. At the moment it feels like we're back in a 1970's disco with the rotating beacon and red and green wing tip lights.

Re: External Lighting
Thanks for confirming chaps and hope you can enjoy night ground ops in the Bonanza now without looking like the Blues Brothers.
