GNS knob lights

Post by avduarri »

Hi,

I'm using the GNS 540 with the Bonanza and I don't know how to turn off the green knob lights in the GNS unit. They are always on.
Somebody using this unit can help me?

Thanks in advance

I think by default they’re on as long as the avionics switch is on.

So this is a bug?
In the C172 the green lights in the knobs only appear at night, while in the Bo are always ON.

I can't answer this with any authority, honestly. I'd assume it would be tied to the radio lights, but then again, I'm no mechanic and only have limited experience working on Bonanzas (and less so on their avionics). Best to let someone else chime in who's on the team.

Yes, @avduarri, it is a bug, it will be fixed down the road, sorry for inconvenience.

Thanks! I had already posted at the Reality XP forums. There it was suggested it might be a bug in the A2A code. Looking forward to the next update.
Cheers, Bert
