OK. Where are you starting from, and which way are you planning on going? There are lots of options. I wrote a little bit about it here: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content. ... -The-World

Are you going west to east?
Is there anywhere in particular you want to stop along the way?

Ok.

If you're using regular tanks (no hypothetical long-range tank installed in the cabin) your safe range is, what, about 800 miles? So the only way across the Atlantic (unless you get a really favorable tailwind) is via Greenland and Iceland.

I use skyvector for planning, and my first step would look like this: https://skyvector.com/?ll=54.6636654847 ... CZL%20BIRK

You know you'll have to stop in Narsarsuaq, Greenland, BGBW, so you can pin that. https://skyvector.com/?ll=53.4217546210 ... GBW%20BIRK

Then before Narsarsuaq pin Goose Bay, CYYR, or one of the small airfields nearer the coast. https://skyvector.com/?ll=53.5263771944 ... GBW%20BIRK

Then pin a field half way between KCZL and CYYR. https://skyvector.com/?ll=53.4217546210 ... GBW%20BIRK

Voila!

The North America part is adjustable if you don't want to fly such long legs. And, of course, it's all affected by the wind, which can stretch your range quite a bit if you slow down to get the maximum benefit from a tailwind. I use windy.com for winds aloft information and predictions.

Once you get to Iceland, you can hop to Vagar in the Faroe Islands, or some point on the northwest Scottish coast, depending on where In Europe you want to go. After that, you can roam freely until you get to the Pacific. The only way across that is up through Japan and the Kurile Islands to the Alaska island chain. https://skyvector.com/?ll=46.8762147339 ... HPP%20PASY

What do you get for still-air range? I know you've been playing with altitudes and throttle settings. One of the things I enjoyed in my Cherokee round-the-world trip was seeing how far I could get with full tanks. (Best tried when you have lots of alternates.)

Then you have the option of going via St Johns, Newfoundland, and the Azores, depending on where you want to start in Europe. Are you sure about that 20º?

At 20 degrees Rich of Peak EGT my fuel flow is 12.7gph and 50 degrees ROP is 13.5 at 50 degrees ROP I get the best power and speed
