I usually fly between 7000 and 9000 feet going eastbound or North East bound West bound I'm always at 8000 here is a typical cruise power setting that I use 90% of the time it is the same at any altitude and it works both with the 520 and 550 to
7000 full throttle 22.6MP 2400 prop rpm 15.0gph TAS 167 this is at 3200 pounds
8000 full throttle 21.9MP 2400 prop 14.4 gph TAS 165 also at 3200 pounds cruise weight
9000 full throttle 20.0MP 2400 prop 14.0 gph TAS 164 at 3200 pounds
these numbers are with the IO-520BB also you will see cooler EGT temps and cooler CHT temps as well
Here is my personal observation
7000 MP 22.7" 2400 prop 166TAS 15.0 gph EGT 1354 CHT 182c
Those numbers for fuel flow and TAS were from Fltplan.com for the V35B Bonanza at 2400 rpm prop
7000 to 9000

feel free to use these power settings. The rpm setting for the power settings is 2400 rpm on the prop which helps with cabin noise

Re: 7000 to 9000
I have countless notes doing the same thing you do when I fly the real airplanes. Testing things like rpm, oat, alt, oil temp, cht, get, speeds, etc. At some point I test this against accusim so it's tested from many metrics.
