Heyo,
Few questions
1. Love the Bonanza, but the curtains are a bit of an annoyance, as they serve no function, and
block the view. Would be great if there was an option in the configurator program to remove them.
In the meantime, is there anyway to remove them?
2. On a side issue:
For the devs. I'm curious in your choice of auto pilot for this? I find it very clunky to use. It turns itself off,
or turns off Nav mode when I set it on and has been tracking it. I find myself fighting with it at times
in order to do what I want it to do, and yes I have read the manual regarding it. lol
Is there any way to remove the curtains?
Re: Is there any way to remove the curtains?
Ad 1: go to hangar (shift+7) and deselect.
Ad 2: well the bo is an old aircraft with historical technical solutions not a 21st century built jet. Me too I had problems with the AP, but believe me, training helps a lot.
Enjoy the bo.

Awesome thanks. Never even noticed the curtain option there lol.

Nav mode will switch automatically to FD if you get into a situation (such as terrain) that blocks radio signal. If you're finding it turns off when using GPS that would be a different story of course.Neon wrote: ↑08 Mar 2020, 00:08 For the devs. I'm curious in your choice of auto pilot for this? No, I'm finding it switching off Nav mode and Alt and switching to HDG but
it doesn't alert me it's doing this, so you only find out when you compare
your desired track to your actual course.
There are much better Autopilots available, be great to have an option to
update the avionics like we can with the GPS. Personally, I'd like
an autopilot to be able to go to a preset altitude. Many can do this,
but none of the A2A planes can. I get the idea of it being a classic plane and
using classic avionics; but then you let us include a modern GPS. Why not
also the Autopilot? If you use the Reality XP GPS, you can bypass
the included autopilot and use the reality xp included 2D autopilot which
works even on the 377. It'd just be nice to have that option. I for one don't
mind paying a little more for a modern autopilot.

Neon,
Sounds like you need to spend a bit more time with the manual and on learning the capabilities of the KFC 200 autopilot installation. Its altitude select mode is explained on page 105. Incidentally, the KAP 140 installation in both of the Cessnas has a similar capability.
Thanks,
Nick

Yeh I read the manual, a few times. I always start there. I guess I'm just not liking it. I didn't like it in the Cessnas either. The Cherokee was better.
I guess it's just personal preference.
Cheers
