Time Elapsed - Reset Inop

Post by Orlaam »

Thanks for the update, the GPS now works and I'm back to flying the Bo. I noticed that the time elapsed button on the ADF panel doesn't reset. Could this be fixed in the future? Not a show stopper, but I swear it worked before. It works in the Comanche.

Hi Chris,

Just checked this with my FSX-SE installation and the SET/RST button on the KR 87 seems to be working as expected, both in terms of resetting the elapsed timer and also toggling between countdown and elapsed time modes when pressed and held.

Please can you just let us know which GPS config you have active, and just confirm that the elapsed time is being shown and not the flight time?

Thanks,
Nick

You'll have to give me a couple days. I'm in my work week, long hours. I'm using the RXP GTN 750, single GPS stack with one radio and ADF below. I'll check again, but it counts up when turning the ADF on, but to reset if you want to start fresh from the RWY, the reset won't do anything. As I said, it's not a big deal for me. I just noticed it. I'll report back in a couple days.

Sure, no problem. :) Anyway, my guess is that the timer was in 'FLT' rather than 'ET' mode.

Cheers,

Never mind. I was in FLT time mode. I thought it came up with ET mode before. I swear the Comanche does. Anyhow, I got it figured out.
