There's one situation where it would be nice to have a pop-up trim indicator: when you're doing stop-and-go pattern work, for when you need to reset the trim after landing. I haven't tried to port it over to P3D yet, but when I was flying on FSX I "borrowed" the trim indicator from the Cal Classics DC-6 and added it as a pop-up. It's not too hard, you just have to add a new [WindowXX] line to the panel.cfg. You might be able to steal the one from the stock Carenado A36 and use it.

Given that A2A is about realism, does the V35B actually HAVE a trim indicator? If not you're punishing a dead equine. :)

Thought it was by the trim wheel, but I may be imagining that

It's got one (a trim indicator). Just to the left of the cowl flap knob.

So, I don't ordinarily advocate tampering with the panel files, but if you add this as a new window and map a key to it, you'll have a pop-up window that will tell you all about your airspeed, altitude, and so much more. Default Mooney gauges, but it basically works. I have mine mapped to a key on my control stick, so if I'm looking out a side widow--as I do when I'm shooting an approach--I can keep an eye on what the plane's doing. I just added a trim indicator to it, which I didn't have until now. The indicator isn't calibrated right, it reads about 7 nose up when real nose up is 3 for example, but it will tell you if your trim is at 0.

[WindowXX]
position=7
size_mm=750,100
background_color=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
no_luminous=1
ident=AUX_PANEL

gauge00=Mooney_Bravo!Airspeed, 0, 0, 100, 100
gauge01=Mooney_Bravo!Turn Coordinator, 102, 0, 100, 100
gauge02=Mooney_Bravo!Attitude, 203, 0, 100, 100
gauge03=Mooney_Bravo!HSI, 304, 0, 100, 100
gauge04=Mooney_Bravo!Altimeter, 405, 0, 100, 100
gauge05=Mooney_Bravo!Vertical Speed, 506, 0, 100, 100
gauge06=BA36!Trim, 607, 0, 44, 100

Hello ClipperLuna, many thanks for your time and tip. If you can understand, I am not into tweaking or tinkering so I would prefer a trim indicator by A2A.
