One question... 25" for descent? I use 25" to climb... typo?

Oops, yes. Meant 15” but use what works for your configuration. Once you get the numbers they always work with attention to winds. Had a tailwind on an ILS a few days ago, but headwind on the ground thanks to funky Southern California weather

Hi...

Whoa - that’s some write up - let me work through it - thanks for taking the time to respond...

Finally had time to double check the procedure and numbers I offered above. They work fine in the A2A Bonanza, as I expected.
  • 15"MP to descend, (don't forget to bump the mixture up periodically)
  • level off and don't touch the power to slow to gear speed (actually top of white arc)
  • Gear down to descend on the glideslope
  • Flaps down with runway in sight
