Oh My!!!! I've been out of town on business this week and anxious to get back home for a little flying and painting,

However.......after seeing all these BEAUTIFUL paints I think I'm going to hang up my brushes for good.

Marvelous!!!! What talented painters we have in here!!! Gorgeous....All of them!!! Great Job!!!!!

That's funny!! There are painters & artist's......then there are paint slingers like me. (smile) Trust me when I tell you these fine folks are LEAGUES above me!!! I can only dream of creating something like these beautiful paints!! (smile)

Seriously...........I hope you painters realize just how good you are!! These paints are beautiful and I'm sure I express EVERYONE's feelings when I tell you how much I appreciate you all painting and sharing your wonderful creations!!

MANY THANKS!!!

Cheers,

I agree! Every paint is an enrichment to the community, so you shouldn't get intimidated by the quality of others.
I doubt they are as bad as you describe them, and even if they were, that's how all repainters start.
Do them, do some others after them and be your biggest critic (which you probably master already :P ), then glorious repaints will come quickly.

Also don't be shy to take inspiration. It's been very valuable for me for example, that I downloaded every repaint I thought had interesting effects and studied the .bmp/.dds files to see how it was achieved, then experimented around with some paint of mine until I was where I wanted to be. Challenge, but don't pressure yourself, this is a hobby, after all! :)

Very nice. Do you have plans to do any of these with U.S. Reg?
