PS: why the repaint proposed a long time ago was not taken and what did you change?

Thanks mate. :) Basically, because every photo of it on the web showed the main colour as very dark blue through to pale grey. Even now someone is thinking; it's too light/dark. Hence the compromise.

Looks great Ron. I see the difference in color on google images. I wonder if it was repainted later to the grey/red/black combo...

It's quite possible Ryan although the only other scheme I've seen it in was the old school, pre-history paint. Having said that: 'Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn' :D

Ah! I see what you mean You're referring to the grey picture. I think that was yet another trick of the light. Would you go to the trouble/expense of rubbing down, prepping, masking the bronze/gold to replace it with grey?
