Did my gear lights burn out already?

Post by ryanbatc »

So I didn't get the three green lights to illuminate after shooting an approach. Burnt bulbs or something more sinister? I did cheat and check external they appeared down (lol the atc in me)

Lamp test shows them out as well

Any ideas? Are failure modeled or is it a bug?

Is your aircraft in a 'Used' state or is it brand new with no hours on the airframe? Also is your system P3D or FSX?

Just a thought...Are you flying during the day with the Nav lights on? I believe like gear lights automatically dim and are difficult to see. I’ve only just started reading the manual very late last night and thought I remembered seeing that.

NAV lights were on but I checked now and don't see an issue. I also have my lights back. I don't know what happened.

Good to hear! I was way off-base anyway. I think I was dreaming last night...possibly about the ol’ Comanche.

In the panel configurator, try to disable the Dynamic Lights and enable it again.
For me, all external lights were not working after a flight with them on.

Disabling and enabling Dynamic Lights (from the A2A panel, not inside P3D) works for me.

I think the problem needs a patch.
