Lockheed Model 049 crash/Freeze Prepar V4.5xx

Post by Busty_Bomber »

Hi

I have a technical problem that has caused the sim to freeze/crash (well freeze more like) after installing the COTS beast. I am pretty sure I installed the correct version for my sim. Cannot determine what cause it. I have set it up in Alice Springs with Orbx Payware AS.

FIX: for some STRANGE reason I was forced to run the simulator as administrator. I never had to do this before. I saw another topic on this and i tried his fix which worked for me.

I think I’m just used to running P3D as an administrator I don’t even think twice about it - its just good practice for complex simulations like A2A aircraft, PMDG, Leonardo, etc to keep the gremlins at bay.

That along with always starting the sim with a default aircraft at a default airport!😉

And last, when running an A2A aircraft for the first time always check for updates - they ship as they were released so checking for updates can be quite important.
