Connie - World's Oldest Radials

Post by TreeTops »

Check this out.
The engines had about 11-12 hrs on them in excellent condition.
Did some slewing about in the air and then unslewing to get some instruments reading correctly.
Afterwards, getting reading for another bit of flying I thought I would check the hanger and I found this.
Turns out the Connie doesnt take too kindly to anything but treating her right!!!

Strangely enough, when I came back later and unslew on the runway, its back to 12 hrs and excellent condition.
Was sure fun while it latest I suppose.

Thanks Jaques, but the engines are flooded!!! I would like to think that after 45,000 hours since overhaul, I would know how to not flood the engines. Ha.
