Constellation Checklist, V-Speeds, Tank Management etc.

Post by ste55 »

Greetings,

I am flying around with the Constellation for a few month right now, but was always missing something like a convenient checklist with all information put together on just 2 pages.
So I made one by myself. Now, I think sharing this would be a nice idea.

This Normal Procedures Checklist comes with additional information about V-Speeds, Boundry Speeds, Power Settings, Pressurization and Fuel Tank Management.
Everything important is put together on just 2 Pages for easy access. You can print it out and have it visible on your desk while flying this beautiful airplane.

All items marked with "+" and below the "+++++++++++++++" lines are done by the flight-engineer. If you use the Live-Engineer you can skip these items.
If you prefer flying without the help of the Live-Engineer, you can enjoy managing everything by yourself. But in critical phases of flight this might be difficult.

This checklist works quite good for me. It makes flying the Constellation much easier, because now I have all vital information available at a glance.

My favourite part is the diagram for the fuel crossfeed. Extremely useful for those who will go months between flights and would forget how to do something like that.

You like it, thank you!

If someone doesn't want to download the complete checklist, here is just the fuel management graphic.
It shows the lever and switch positions. I got this information by observing the live engineer during my flights.

Awesome work, thanks for sharing! This is what I needed to help add realism to my Connie flights. I wish you had a VRef Speed box for landing as well. I can figure that one out myself. Anyway,
thanks again.
