Apologies for neglecting this paint. Things got crazy and it slipped my mind. Now I am away till 19 September. Will have a look at doing it then.

No worries and no hurries. I myself have just thought about it again. I realize how we can forget things with all that is going on in our life. I appreciate you taking on this challenge. :D

Just want to start with a big thumbs up for all the excellent re-paints I am seeing, and the work that is still ongoing. Fantastic.

I did see a mention of this, but nothing since, so I have to ask...

Is anyone doing, or willing to do, the Trans Canada Airline Connie?

:D I would like to see that one myself :D

Sorry I cannot help you atm. My plate is already too full, as it is.

But I bear it in mind. Great paint!

Hello
Near to my home stands an Air France L1049 Super Constellation . panel and Flight Engineer panels have french markings, and I think it's the same for the L049 ; I would like an Air France Panel for F-BAZA & F-BAZB skins , I took some pictures inside the Super G but there is some differences between theses two planes , maybe someone have some pictures of a french L049 Panel ?

Hello AWKM80!

As a frenchman myself I already wanted to make this cockpit "relabelling", but I couldn't find any pictures...
Now it looks like I'd have a solid base to begin with!

Give me some time and I will do it :)

Bonne soirée,

Barth

Bonjour Barth
Tu es Français ? Moi aussi ! voici des liens où tu trouveras des images de "notre" Super Constellation nantais
http://superconstellation-nantes.fr/
Va dans MEDIAS /PHOTOS ; celles de ROMAIN SALERNO sont intéressantes notamment ;

Je vais essayer de glaner d'autres images , sur le net et dans mes photos persos .
For the others members , I will try to find others pics in my personnal pictures and on the web .
If someone has others pics or want to help , you're welcome !

nb : tu verras que certains instruments ne sont pas à leur place , cet avion a subi des rapines il y a quelques années

Hi
Some other details

For the starter , I can read "Demarrage" but can't read the french word for "inertia" . Maybe "lancement"?

Hi AWKM80!

Thank you for your very nice pictures!
I think the L 1049 did'nt have an inertial starter, so you won't find it on the panel. Correct word would perhaps simply be 'inertiel/inertie' or as you say 'lancement' written as the "on" function of the switch..
It would be nice if you have any more pictures, that you send me these in PM so we keep this thread 'free' of many pictures untill the future release of our french cockpit.

Merci encore pour ces supers photos!
Cordialement

Barth

Hello
Starter switch seems have two positions , but I have no photo that clearly shows the inscription below. It clearly reads "démarrage" above.
I'm going to make new photos, Saturday or Saturday next week . I continue to search the net in the meantime.

Hey all, looking to expand my fleet with something a little bigger. Would anyone be willing to dress the Connie with these clothes?
