I took this the other day was I emerged from a cloud. I thought it was rather on the 'cool' side. I had been flying through several miles of these with a ride as smooth as you can imagine. Cloud bases must have around 12K or less with tops pushing 35K (estimated).

10 hours from Port Moresby to Pago Pago, strong and hight thunderstorms over Vanuatu and Fiji, icing, hot air, turbulence but Connie did not disappoint and gently landed under the applause.
