T-6 Crashing

Post by Curly-44 »

Every time I crash or reset the game with the T-6 FSX will shut down. Any way to fix this?

-Thanks

Hello Curly-44 and welcome.

I think the first thing to check here is if you've downloaded and installed the latest Accu-Sim update for the T-6? It's available here.

Thanks,

Hello Nick, thank you for your reply. I updated my T-6, unfortunately, the problem was not solved. It might help to add that I am using FlyInside for VR FSX.

Okay, thanks for the info. Please can you just describe in a little more detail what is happening. For example, exactly what are you doing when "resetting" FSX and does the simulator crash to desktop? If so, are you able to share the crash log? The easiest way to do this is probably using the Windows Reliability Monitor.

Thanks,

When FSX crashes there is no crash log, I guess its more like FSX shut down, instead of crashing. As for resetting FSX I just mean choosing a new flight, sorry for the poor choice of words.

Thanks

Okay, thanks for the clarification Curly. Please could you run a test without FlyInside runing and see if the uncommanded FSX shutdown still happens?

Cheers,

I tried it without Flyinside and it worked great. Could Flyinside be the cause of the problem?

Thanks

Hey, I finally found the fix to my problem. What I had to do was completely re-set FSX. It sucked that I had to get rid of my stuff but the T-6 works GREAT!!! Couldn't be happier!!! I just wanted to post this in case somebody else is having the same problem.

-Curly :D

Update: Nevermind...upon further review the plane wasn't working like it should so I updated it, which brings me back to square 1, same problems as before...bummer.

Thanks for the update Curly.

Is this behaviour still only happening when you use FlyInside?

Yes, The T-6 works great on regular FSX, but it doesn't seem to like flyinside too much...
