tiny inlet above oil cooler inletHe

Post by Zacke »

Hey guys,

there seem to be a additional inlets integrated above the oil cooler scoop facing to the left and right. You can see it here also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFXOpLReNgg (1:31). What are they intended to do? And what are the pipes behind the oil cooler scoop good for?

Thanks in advance,
Zacke

The additional inlets are to provide another path for airflow to the cooler, should the primary inlet become blocked with ice...or in some cases I suppose, tree branches, wheat, tall grass, etc...

The tubes behind the scoop are vent lines for various things that need to be vented...oil tank, crankcase, hydraulic tank, battery box I think...and I'm certainly willing to be proven wrong, as I don't have an drawing handy atm

Cheers,
