Around the PNW in the Texan.

Post by Chunk »

A quick flight from Orcas Island to Paine Field. Hadn’t flown the Texan in quite some time. She’s still a joy to fly.

Great shots! I love the PNW region of Orbx and of course I love the Texan. What a great combo!

How did you get the scenery so realistic?

Can you share your scenery or other requirements to get it like that?

I have an actual T-6 an J3C-65 at airport ID 3J6 and want to try both out in here. Just purchased P3D and just started the download and other than starting P3D download haven't any idea what to add yet. Last file building experience was Fine Air DC8 in 2002 on FS2000.

Was that on P3D or FSX?

Any direction to go where to get what without too much extra downloads. Pretty capable computer.

Any help please? Been a long time since humbly trying to learn again.

The sim is P3D, version 4.3. The scenery is the ORBX Pacific Northwest region, ORBX Orcas Island Airport and Anacortes Airport. I use ActiveSky P3D for weather, and PTA for some of the color settings. There are also very minor photoshop edits to the screenshots (contrast, sharpening, lighting, etc.)
