No, previous Accusim-planes have been released fully updated, so it's not neccessary to wait for an updater. The others, however will probably benefit from tricke-down-items. In any case - they have to wait for a while - we're all flying the T-6 now, anyway.

There is also a new Accu-Sim update to download as well (though the year is marked wrong), but if you install the Texan you won't need it.
