I really hope it's released very soon now because I need to violate what the manual states top left of page 40:

T-6G is capable of most aerobatic maneuvers
with the exception of sustained inverted flight (because of
engine cutoff). Snap rolls, outside loops, and inverted spins
are prohibited.

The video goes against the manual :P

No, not at all.

Scott stated in the video to slow her down to about 120 mph prior to a snap roll.
The manual says, that snap rolls in excess of 130 mph are prohibited.

So, Scott´s complying with this. :)
Cheers,
Marco

I read the manual last night but just to say, great work on the manual thanks.

I enjoyed the section on different types of air force training (initial, basic and advanced) and how the various types of aircraft fit into these, along with what was taught/expected at each stage.

One question about Geoffrey Wellum's Harvard. Was that prior to Harvards being T6s? I ask because the manual seems to suggest the T6 based Harvard not having been available in 1939/40?

Thanks again for the manual.

edit: Just to say I realise that the T6G model we have here is a few years later than that date, just wondered when T6s were first distributed, and whether that was in time for Mr Wellum?

Wellum would have done his advanced training on the Harvard Mk.1 as seen here. They first entered RAF service in December 1938 and it was basically a BC-1 fitted with British Instrumentation.

Thanks for that Martin, just like to have it clear in my head.

I'm sure GW would have been flying a T6 if they were available when he was learning advancedness.

I agree that the manual is outstanding. It is so good I have shared it with my aviation friends who are not involved in simming.
