Question for cockpit builders / LINDA...

Post by TBryson2 »

I'm in the process of making a gear control assembly. This will be a "generic" gear control with UP and DOWN as it's extremes. Issue is the Comanche has a center switch position that I will not be replicating.

Is there a way I can use LINDA or some other control function to bypass the center gear selection as used in the A2A Comanche?

This will be for P3D 4 and 5, and I do have the full version of FSUIPC.

I realize that this isn't "true to life", but at this stage that is irrelevant to my needs.

Thanks,

I did some programming with LINDA so I can use my Saitek switch panel with the B-17. I’m not at my PC atm but I’ll post the code when I get home
Kind Regards

Use the Lvar: LandingGearLeverPos

LandingGearLeverPos = 0 -- up position
LandingGearLeverPos = 1 -- center position
LandingGearLeverPos = 2 -- down position

Use linda or fsuipc script or whatever you want to set 0 value when your switch is up and 2 when your switch is down.

Thanks for the reply. I haven’t had time to test it, but perhaps soon.

Again, thanks.
