Has the Comanche got any rain effects?

Just wondering about my Comanche. Should I see rain on the windshield?

You should if you're running the latest version in P3Dv4 David.

Bear in mind that if you have ActiveSky connected, default P3Dv4 weather themes won't trigger the windshield rain effect, only ASP4 weather will.

Thanks Nick. Yes I use Active Sky v4 for P3dv4.5.

I don't have any rain on windshield?

I bought the Comanche from Just Flight. Perhaps their files are out of date? Which version should they have?

They should have the latest version David. Which version of the Comanche is currently installed on your system? You should be able to see the version number if you click on the Comanche entry in the Windows list of installed programs.

Thanks for the update David - good to hear you're in business with the rain drops. Not sure if/when the effect will be brought to the Connie though. It's the windscreen wipers that are the complication.
