I don't have access to the pop.up panels in A2A aircrafts

Suddenly I don't have access to the pop.up panels. Nothing happens when I press shft + 2, 3, 4 .... I use P3dV4.5HF2. In P3D, the panels do not appear to be under views. Shft + works on default aircraft but not on any of my A2A aircraft not just the Commanche.The 2-D panel transparency in P3D are set to 0%. I tried to uninstall Commanche and reinstall but the problem persists.

Hi.
I dont use P3Dv4 , so dont know the exact wording for what your looking for , but in my FSXA , the 2d pop ups come under instrument views .
Do you see any pup up window titles under the panels , also have you done or had any windows system/P3D updates that might have effected these.
Have you installed any addons that may have effect these popups.
Also i did a check on my FSXA and the 2d panel transparency at 0% is correct to show the panels , and you say 2d popups work with other , which should indicate the shift+ keys have not been reassigned to something else.

Hi Thomas,

Yes, have you tried opening the 2-D panels via the "Vehicle" then "Instrument Panel" menus? This should tell us if it's an issue with key assignments causing the problem.

Also, did you make any changes in the sim prior to this happening; for example, changing your default flight? It's always best to use a stock P3D aircraft for the default scenario.

It seems that this is in some way linked to Chaseplane. I have uninstalled Chaseplane and now have even bigger problems. There is no panel at all for the aircraft. It looks like the first picture for P3D default start aircraft. Neither does shft-2 or any other shft + figure now work. The second picture shows A2A Piper 28. I do not know how to proceed.

Hi Thomas,

I think you should be able to undo ChasePlane edits to P3D4. Go to the following directory: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4. (By default, "AppData" is a hidden system folder. For more info on how to make it visible, please see here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/hel ... dden-files.)

In this folder, delete the "cameras.cfg" file. I also recommend you restore your default control assignments in P3D. You can either do this from the control settings in P3D, or you can go to the "Controls" folder in the directory above and delete the "Standard.xml" file.

It may be worth trying the ChasePlane support forum before taking the steps this to check if the developer has any other suggestions.

Ok, before I do what you proposes. Here is what I have done so far. I have reinstalled Chaseplane and now the panels are back. On the first picture you can see the Commanche and P3D Vehicle/Instrument panel. On the second picture I have opend the Panel Manager which I don't understand much about. However, it is still the case that Shft 1, 2, 3 etc do not work.

What happens if you click on one of the entries in that list such as "payload and fuel manager"? Does the associated 2-D panel appear?

Yes it does. But as I wrote earlier not the Shft+7 (I think it was). I have checked the P3D Options/key assigments. All the Shift+1-7 semms ok. It says assigned tto panel window..... I have also noticed something else. When I press P, P3D dosen´t pause and no red notification omn the screnn. In the key assigments P is assigned to pause.

Hi Thomas.

If those commands are present in P3D and the 2-D panels can be accessed via the P3D menu,it sounds like some other software such as ChasePlane has the same controls bound and is intercepting the keystrokes.

I recommend you check ChasePlane and any other software (for example the A2A input configurator) for conflicting controls.

I think I have isolated the problem. It does not depend on Chaseplane. I have the new yoke Honeycomb and to assign buttons I have installed LINDA. When I remove LINDA from the P3D modules folder, the problem is overcome. I do not understand how it can be related to LINDA. Know that there is a part of the forum that uses LINDA for Honeycomb and A2A. May open a new topic to hear experiences.
