If NAV1 is completely inoperable (i.e. if you can't swap active and standby freq's as well as the HSI CDI flag showing as pictured) I'd recommend you check the inbuilt P3D failures menu (Vehicle → Failures). I believe the individual radios are switched off partly via 'failing' them, so perhaps this state has somehow been 'remembered'.

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, i know about this, i checked all failures, but my NAV stack is working perfectly, i can swap and tune any freq's like in NAV2. But if with NAV2 VOR2 indicator work properly, HSI indicator has "red flags" with NAV1 tuned (VOR or ILS)

If the NAV1 radio link to the HSI is broken, maybe try temporarily removing the relevant *.ini file for the GPS in question from the main "A2A_Piper_PA24_250_Comanche" folder. Is it the Flight1 or RealityXP GTN you're using by the way?

Okay, in case that doesn't help, one other suggestion would be to remove the "Comanche250Log.dat.f" file in "My Documents\A2A\FSX\Comanche250".

I don't own any of the Flight1 units, so can't help with any specific setting there I'm afraid.

Cheers,
Nick

Does that go for removing the *log.dat.f file too? (This is the one that stores persistent NAC/COMM radio frequencies.)

If no joy, maybe check to see if the radios themselves are working (i.e. see if you can listen to the morse ident or tune the DME)...

Thanks,
Nick

Before you try reinstalling, I recommend you delete the entire contents of that "My Documents\A2A\FSX\Comanche250" folder just in case there's some other persistent setting which is causing the issue. (This folder won't be removed by a reinstall either.)

Hello,

I believe this is a known bug with the GPS, have you checked the Flight1 forums and updated your GPS to the latest version?

thanks,

Guys, i discover that HSI is working ONLY when engine is running. Another words, HSI is working only with vacuum pump running? Is it bug or not? I thought that HSI is electrical gauge and its powered by electricity like VOR2 gauge. Am i wrong?

What HSI is modeled, a quick check of the specs should confirm if it is vacuum or electric.
