Why does my P3Dv4 logbook record all my A2A aircraft as amphibian and not fixed wing?

Hi.
I believe this as been asked before , and if i remember correctly , its because A2A aircraft can , in an emergency , be ditched on water , and behave correctly in that situation.

hey i know this is an old thread. but i have the same thing as this guy does. all of my planes have been logged as amphibian. it's strange but as long as you have log books for A2A planes like i do just ignore that part. i have logs for each plane not just on log book for all.
