heading selector/card set

Post by 503Kento »

I use a trackball rather than a mouse with a wheel so I have no way to adjust the heading bug.

I could assign the function it to a button via Spad.next but can't seem to find the right LVAR for it. I have the variable list but don't seem to see one. Is there one?

Is there any other way to adjust the heading bug beside the mouse wheel?

Thanks for your help,

Kent

Hi Kent,

I think one approach would be to assign keys or buttons to the "heading bug inc" and "heading bug dec" functions in FSUIPC. In other words, no need to actually use an L:Var for this.

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks for the suggestion Nick however, I don't use FSUIPC, just Spad.Next

Ah, okay. Which host sim are you using Kent? In P3Dv4 at any rate, there's a default option in the control assignments for this [e.g. autopilot heading bug (increment)]. Not sure about FSX though.

Thanks,
Nick
