More Landing Gear

Post by Taka taka »

I start up the aircraft and immediately an alarm is sounding.
As I glance around I see the gear selector is in the "Up" position?

I am on the tarmac with the gear down. Last I touched it was to place it in the "Down" position.
Any ideas what happened?

I also had to replace the battery. Would removing the battery change the switch setting?
(Don't see how)

Hi,

I know from previous posts here, that sim (FSX in example) does not safe some status parameters. I presume you are loading a previously saved flight, not a new flight?

Nope.
New flight.

However in the flight prior to this I had saved its status - and that was in the air.
Interesting.

I wonder why other aspects of the saved flight weren't passed along? Mixture etc? The engine was off, the plane cold & dark. The only thing that was passed forward was the gear selector.
