Re: SCREENSHOTS
This one is a little unusual and was a surprise birth. I Googled Reno Air Race to get some ideas for a P-51 paint and saw all kinds of different classes of racers. Then I saw this.
I believe these are Cirrus aircraft and I thought way not a Piper 250. That is how this was born.
Of course they wouldn't race with tip tanks but they may need them for those long trips in between races.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one but it was fun to do and I tried some different things this time.

Re: SCREENSHOTS
At start up, 2W1 De Vere Field, Orbx PNW.
Coming in a bit hot, touch and go at nearby S93, Cle Elum Municipal
Crossed the hills heading west, then turned south heading for 2W3 Swanson. Volcano's to the left.
Coastal plains to the right.
Start up next day at Swanson. The weeds seem to grow well in this part of the world
The weather got worse and worse, forcing me down to about 1500ft. Crossing the coast heading towards KCMW Cushman Meadows.
Full stop landing at Cushman Meadows, but taxied back for take off again.
Onwards to KHQM Bowerman Airport.
Should have had the hamburger at Cushman Meadows. This one's a bit damp.
Cheers,
Mike

Re: SCREENSHOTS
Nice shots Mike. I really like the yellow. I never thought of a yellow 250 but that looks good. I may have to do some kind of yellow now.

Re: SCREENSHOTS
Yes, the yellow scheme is really good. I've combined this with a black interior, too, the same one you see in the black and gold plane.
Cheers,
Mike

Re: SCREENSHOTS
Sunday barbecue at Lands Inn Ranch (Orbx 49OR). Narrow short grass landing strip, and beware of the cows on threshold !
Nice place anyway.
