Just a few shots to say Thank You to JanKees for this lovely N8125P retro green scheme.

(Apologies for the quality of my pics - I reckon with the amount of jagged edges I need to up my antialiasing or something, but FSX is running sweetly and its only in screenies that I really notice them.)

1. Awaiting Heidi and her pals at Grand Canyon National Park KGCN airport for a trip over the Canyon. No sir, of course I'm going to follow the VFR routes and altitudes!
Image

2. We head out east towards the Zuni Alpha reporting point, the rim of the canyon and the Bright Angel Flight Free Zone just temptingly to our north.
Image

3. Then we're finally northbound, following the Zuni Point VFR corridor, upstream towards the Marble Canyon.
Image

4. "Good intentions" and all that ... somehow or other we found ourselves looking directly out at the canyon walls... "Honestly, Mr Inspector, I don't know what happened!" Although I did learn why you don't drop down into an unknown canyon when I found myself frantically nailing the best angle of climb rate at 84mph. I had missed a right turn and suddenly the ground was sloping up very rapidly in front of us!
Image

5. And finally on short final to Marble Canyon L41. That really is a narrow runway! I nearly didn't land here as I know there's a payware scenery out there and I'm itching to buy it but there are other priorities at the minute. Anyway, the FTX Global version is quite acceptable if you haven't seen the payware one. Although, the wife just bought that new handbag...

A snap of N566P over Monument Valley. I randomly picked this paint as something that would make a nice contrast against the backround, only to discover during post processing that the real aircraft is based nearby. Call it a happy accident if you wish ;)
Kudos to Marius for the repaint and of course to the entire A2A gang for the Commanche!

Hello everyone! Picked up the Comanche yesterday and took alot of pictures. On one of them I decided to crop out the FSX background and put in a real background from my local airport. I think it turned out pretty cool. :) Credit for the repaint goes to Flieger-Marius!
