A friend of mine has interchanged his piper comanche yokes with my piper cherokee yokes.
So I have real piper comanche yokes
I am starting to build the force feedback system.
I have made a central box, which extract data from simulator (prepar3d, xplane, msfs), compute and generate forces and vibrations. It is at about 50% coded.
I am testing it using and old force feeback wheel, using just the motor, working with my electronics, and I think is working fine.
You can setup multiples paramateres, save profiles.. all in the same central box, with a menu.
There are connectors to encoders, motor drivers, trims pots/switches.. etc..
I will post some videos with the system working.

Force feedback dual yoke system update:
I have built some pieces.
First piece goes in the panel, and it is needed to smoothly move and rotate the shaft of the yoke through the panel. I haven't found the original comanche pieces, so I have 3d printed similar ones.
The 3d printed pieces are covered with the original bezels.
This other piece, is used to join the original shaft (without any mod) with the gear for motor and dual yoke transmision.
I prefer using chains because I think itis more like the original system.
These are the motor I will be using: My 1025/1016 350W DC motors :
I have to rebuild the cockpit structure to install the dual yoke force feedback system, but I think it will be worth it.

Re: Homemade Comanche cockpit.
Real yokes force feedback system mod started:
Yesterday:
Today:
Old (pilot) vs "new" (copilot). Just to see how it will look.
In the next days both will be real yokes.
It is going to be a quite long travel...
The fun has just begun (again)

AP following code done.
I am testing with xplane but it will work the same with p3d/msfs

That's so good, I'm not jealous at all Great setup there my friend
Re: Homemade Comanche cockpit.
I love following your cockpit build!
Started building my Comanche cockpit last week (first try, so it will be basic, but hope to one day build one like yours!).
Will be posting the progress on the forum as well

So... it is time to MSFS migration.
