RealityXP GNS 530 Not Clickable

In the FSX version after configuring the 182 for the RealityXP GNS530, the panel shows up correctly, and can be popped up too. While the pop-up GNS is clickable and can power up, the panel on the 182 instrument panel is not clickable at all (and the display does not show up, even though it shows just fine on the pop-up). None of the buttons of the GNS can be clicked.

I am also thinking of getting another A2A C182 for my P3D V5, but if the panel on the dashboard is not clickable, that won't do.

On another matter, is the P3D C182 of the 182 "T" version (turbo)?

Hello Avio,

The FSX version of the 182 includes support for the original version of the RXP GNS 530 but it was released before the RXP GNS 530W/430W v2 which is probably what you've purchased.

If so, you can use the RealityXP configuration tool to update the panel.cfg file for the 182 to support the newer version of the RXP gauge. First of all, use the A2A Aircraft Configurator to select the Flight1 GNS 530 option. Then, use the RealityXP "setup aircraft" tool to detect and replace the existing gauge entries with newer v2 ones. This option is available from the P3D top menu. The same principal applies to the P3D version of the 182.

The Accu-Sim 182 isn't a Cessna T182T but rather the normally aspirated Cessna 182T model (i.e. the one that came after the "S")

Thanks,
Nick

Check this link: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=70971&hilit=RXP+GTN. It describes how I got the buttons working on my RXP GTN. Hopefully a similar process will work for your GNS.
