Hi,
Please, can someone explain what for the box with [ - 0 + ] ?
As I've been reading in the forum, I learnt that the [ - VOLUME + ] is for the Accu-sim sounds. I did not find these items in the C182 Manual.
Thanks

Re: C182 Controls 2D Panel (sh-3) question
Hi Heron,
There's some discussion of the "simulated elevator force" slider in this thread; I understand it was introduced some time after the initial 172 release, which is why it isn't covered in the manual.
However, basically this slider controls how elevator sensitivity varies with airspeed. A value of 100 means that greater yoke/stick deflection will be needed to achieve the same pitch input with increasing airspeed, when compared to a value of 0. This can be useful for anyone who find the controls too sensitive in cruise flight.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: C182 Controls 2D Panel (sh-3) question
Hi Nick,
Hmmm, I find the C182 elevator control very sensitive at T/O and landing. I will first try the value of 50 to see if things get better. In flight school I used a C172 and it was not that sensitive.
Thanks!
