Thank you, I have the file. Now I assume I install all three, then put these files in?

Hi Chris,
Yes, that's right. Install with the installers first, ignoring the DirectX error messages and then just copy the files in the zip file on top of your FSX installation.
Thanks,
Nick

The whole A2A file goes in the FSX main directory yes?

Yes, you should have three folders in the zip file: "A2A", "Gauges" and "SimObjects" which you need to copy into your main FSX directory, so that they'll combine with the folders with these names which are already present.
Thanks,
Nick

Nope all three show in the menu but go fatal error when selected.

Re: Installed 182, now no A2A airplanes work correctly
Another update. I cleaned everything out and reinstalled the 172, the Cherokee, and the 182. The 172 and the Cherokee work, somewhat. Still no configurator, so no GPS, and had to delete the RXP files in each to get the King radios to work. I can live with that.
As for the 182-it will load, but the cowl flaps won't work, the engine runs terrible even with damage off, no fuel pump or switch sounds in the cockpit, the needles in the gauges bounce around just sitting on the ground, not moving-in other words it is unusable.
And I still don't have the T-6. I haven't even bothered with the B377 , Cub or the Fortress.
So out of 7 A2A airplanes I have two only partially working.
I will remove and delete the 182, and would like a refund for it. I don't know what kind of arrangement we could reach on the others.

Chris,
We've refunded your recent purchase of the 182 as requested.
For the other aircraft you own, you're welcome to try downloading and running one of our older updates, but this won't fix the issue if it's due to the DirectX9 API not being successfully installed on your now-unsupported version of Windows.
Here's a link to one of the legacy updaters from 2017: https://a2asimulations.com/updates/test ... _13_17.EXE.
Kind regards,
Nick

Nick or Lewis,
If I install the T-6 into an empty folder and place the files in their correct directories, bypassing the installer issues, will it work?

Re: Installed 182, now no A2A airplanes work correctly
Hello Chris,
No, that isn't likely to help, it's not that the installer is putting files in the wrong place, rather Microsoft's DirectX installation is failing.
You could try this copy of the DirectX installer instead.

Thanks,
Nick

I am afraid if I change DirectX, it may do something to all my other sims. I guess I just don't get my T-6 back. Thanks.

Not sure there's much more we can do to try and help in that case Chris. Did you try the legacy updater I linked above?
