Reality XP GTN 750

I just bought a Reality XP GTN 750 for my Cessna 182 Skylane from A2A.

After installation it is not possible anymore to switch in the Bendix/King KAP 140 from NAV to HDG

It is alsö now impossible in the plane to switch from NAV to GPS

How can I overcome this problem?

Hello Herman,

If you're using a third-party Garmin GPS unit, switching between NAV and GPS is done via the GPS unit itself; in the case of the GTN, this is by using the "CDI" icon at the bottom of the screen when in map mode.

The GPS setup shouldn't affect the KAP 140 mode selection though. Please can you describe the issue you're seeing in a little more detail, and if possible show what the setup looks like using a screenshot.

Cannot start GTN 750 von Reality XP in A2A C182 anymore
Even the pop-up window does not appear
In the past it works wonderfull

Hi Herman,

Did you make any changes to your sim installation at around the time you lost the GTN functionality? Also, could you let us know which platform you're currently using? is it still P3Dv4 or have you moved to P3Dv5?

Are you still able to use the GTN 750 in other aircraft? For example, could you try adding it as a gauge to one of the default aircraft in P3Dv4 to check the basic functionality of the RXP gauge and the Garmin trainer?
