LVARS for KMA 26 Audioselector

Post by Kaselite2 »

Hello,

Im having an issue turning NAV1/2 ident (and other ident items) I can turn them on as follows:

kma26Nav1Switch set "1"
kma26Nav1SwitchButton set "1"

I have experimented setting the value to "0" when releasing the button (using both above, and individually, and in different order) but alas the most i can get out of it is a flash in the green light.

So the sequence would be:

1. press the button kma26Nav1Switch set "1" = light on and it works
2. release the button either not set, or set to "0" - light stays on
3. Press again (this should turn it off using the same same commands) - i think. but it does not turn off.

I then thought about the key assignments in the simulator (control 3,4,5 etc), and i tried those. Oddly, its the same issue. Turn on, but wont turn off. (only way to turn off is to use the mouse).

I must be doing something wrong... or is it a bug? Anyone got any idear on this? Driving me mad! :)

P3D V5
Spad.next 9.6.54 (LVAR bridge is installed of course)
Win 10
A2A P2D V5 version with the most recent patch

Thanks, Judd.

Hello Judd and welcome to the A2A community.

Have you checked out the PDF notes on using these L:Vars here? If not, they should contain the info you need to get them working as expected using external hardware.

Thanks,

Have you tried a conditional statement as mentioned in the document Judd? I believe this should be possible within SPAD.neXt, though I don't own the software.
