C182 Dsiplay is flickering

Now I have another problem with the C182 after reinstall. When I zoom the C182 on the apron and with the plus button, the display starts flickering at short intervals.
This is independent of whether the engine is running or not.

Do you mean the GPS display in the cockpit is flickering (as you talked about it in your last post), or is it the image on your display screen which is flickering?

In either case, please can you also let us know which host sim you're using, along with your basic PC specs.

Just found out. When I switch to the outside view with the S button, the flicker is extremely strong.
I am using P3Dv4.5 with Win10 64 pro

Okay, thanks for clarifying Horst.

Is this behaviour that you can reproduce consistently, and does it happen with just the 182?

How about if you change views using the menus rather than the 'S' key?

Just I checked it with the FSLabs A320 at the same parking position
No flickering

sorry it took a few moments to start the P3D with c182
There is no different between using the menue or the S-Switch.

I just did a little research and this issue seem to be mentioned as few times in conjunction with the FSLabs A320 and previous updates to the P3Dv4 platfrom.

I recommend you try the steps mentioned here, specifically disabling "full screen optimisation" for P3D. There's another topic with the same advice here on the FSLabs forum.

seems tbe the advice from Alan_A is the solution.
Cured it by turning on vsync and triple buffering. I did as he recommended.
It works no flickering anymore. Not outside not in the Cockpit with zoom
by plus button.

I had a similar problem eliminated by setting the "Disable fullscreen optimizations" in the P3D shortcut properties.
