Vacuum problems

Post by Rarebear »

Hey guys. Im getting a L Vac R warning on the anynciator panel. My vacuum gauge is sitting right at 5 but my artificial horizon gyro warning flag kicks on and off intermitently. I checked the hangar and nothing pops up as unusual. Any guesses?

Thanks

JDW

I reloaded the aircraft seems to have solved it.

Was the engine just ticking over at idle revs JDW? If so, maybe the RPM dropped enough that simulated output of the engine-driven vacuum pumps was low enough to trigger the annunciators. If the condition of the pumps is a bit worn, this might be more likely though I'm not 100% sure of the coding behind the scenes here.

Thanks,

Hey nick.

I had thought of that but my rpms were at 1,000 and I didnt some runup tests at 2,000 rpms and nothing. Wouldnt even budge. The Artificial Horizon looked like the guro wasnt working. Check the wngine and hangar and all and everything seemed just fine.

Okay, thanks JDW.

Maybe it was just an odd flight initialisation glitch in that case. Do you use a default aircraft in FSX/P3D for your default flight?

That happened to me a couple times and the only way to get things back to normal was a reinstall of simconnects.

Hello,

please see here for simconnect;
http://a2asimulations.com/public/downlo ... onnect.msi

Run the installer, it'll flash up quick and install. Then restart your system and start a new flight.

thanks,
Lewis
