Re: Unable to power-up the flight1 gns430 in my plane
Hello George,
Please can you let us know which host sim (FSX, P3Dv4 etc?) you have the 182 installed in, and whether you're able to power up and use the Flight1 GNS successfully in other aircraft?
Thanks,
Nick

It is under P3D v4.5. No, I don't have other planes outside the stock ones which I don't intent to use.

Okay, thanks George, but please can you let us know if you've successfully installed the Flight1 GNS add-on, and verified if it works in general on your system? You must have this product installed in order to use it in the Skylane.

Re: Unable to power-up the flight1 gns430 in my plane
Thanks for your replies.
Yes, I have installed the software without problems. By the way, I have done it in the past without any problems in previous version of P3D (3.0)
The system displays now "Cannot Find MSVCR120.DLL" and also advice about configuring the anti-virus properly. But even with it being off, still cannot power up either the GNS 4030/530.
Any clues?
Manu Thanks
George

Re: Unable to power-up the flight1 gns430 in my plane
Thanks George,
I'm still not clear from your reply though, is the GNS powering-up okay if you have it installed in one of the default aircraft in P3Dv4? If you haven't tried this, please could you give it a go? And when does the "cannot find MSVCR120.DLL" message and the one about anti-virus software appear?
What I'm trying to establish if this is an issue with the GNS generally in P3Dv4, or if it's specific to the A2A Cherokee.
Cheers,
Nick

Thank you for your reply Nick. Okay, I will try to load the GNS in one of the stock airplane from P3D v4.5 tonight!
